What I did over the Summer!Looking for something to catch their attention? Check out these “What I did over the summer” Twitter Bubbles & Instagram sheets!

Paper-Twitter Technology
– 5 tweet speech bubbles (for dot jots or full sentences)
– 1 column for paragraph
– 3 larger twitter bubbles for ‘good copy’ or students requiring accommodation for larger writing area
– 1 large paragraph form to expand on writing ideas
-Students can record 5 highlights of their summer then combine all 5 into a full paragraph OR expand on 1 of their tweets (Optional: students can write their tweets in true-twitter form, synthesizing each tweet to 140 characters)

Paper-Instagram Technology
On the reverse, students can draw a photo about one of their tweet speech bubbles. Encourage students to fill the entire box – making it look like a real photograph.
